Tough Times

Well, we are officially a casualty of the terrible economy. Dan got laid off last Friday. It's not so bad, I have extra hands around the house now to help, and we still get to collect an unemployment check. We're not sure how much that is yet, but hopefully it will be enough. He's not sure how long he's going to be laid off. He's the only employee for the electrical company he works for. There's not even enough work to keep his boss busy. We should stay covered under his health care, but were unsure how long. Things could get sticky if we lose that.

Before you go feeling bad for us, don't. Dan has struggled with his job for a while now. This really isn't what he wants to do for the rest of his life. It's just a job that pays the bills. This may give him the opportunity to explore other career opportunities. So who knows where this will take us.

We could definitely use your prayers tho.
thanks!
