We arrived last week Friday night to our campsite in Flint. Not the prettiest part of our state, but it was fine.
The boys checking out the campsite

The next day we enjoyed playing around the campsite. Luke did a lot of fishing. He probably fished for 80% of the time we were there.

We didn't tell Luke, and Riley for that matter, that we were going to see Thomas. It was a surprise. Luke was pretty excited when he figured it out. Not that you can tell from this picture...

We first went a saw a "special presentation" of Bob the builder

Then it was our turn to ride on Thomas. It was very cool. You could stick your head out the window at times and see Thomas pulling you. The boys got a kick out of that. Riley liked riding like a dog with his head out the window :)

Luke also got to meet Sir Topham Hatt! A little closer please....

But the place we spent most of our time was at the train tables. Riley really could spend all day here.

Thanks Thomas, we hope to visit you again!

Wow! Looks like you had a great site. I can't believe how big the boys are! So that was in flint? Is he only "visiting" or is he there year round?
Your Thomas site does look waaaaay better than ours. Not that Soren cares, but our is pretty much in a dusty parking lot. Looks like a terrific day. It would great if we could all go together one of these years!
Heather...he visits flint a few times a year. You can find him all over the country at different venues
